We are seeking a dependable, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual with a positive attitude to join our team in a seasonal, part-time driver position. The role requires availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to drive long distances for farm product pickups and CSA deliveries from our farm. Responsibilities include operating the company’s straight box trucks or vans, assisting in packing supplies and equipment for delivery, reviewing paperwork to ensure accuracy with all associated items, loading and unloading vehicles, and performing basic vehicle maintenance. The ideal candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling physical tasks associated with deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Drive company straight box trucks or vans to pick up farm products and deliver CSA orders.
• Travel long distances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for pickups and deliveries.
• Assist in packing and organizing supplies and equipment for delivery.
• Review paperwork to ensure all items correspond with the delivery list.
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures while operating vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles.
• Communicate with the team regarding any delivery issues or delays.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of prior NYC driving experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license. CDL is preferred, but not required.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Driver Medical Certification a plus.
• Familiarity with NYC roadways.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 8 hours a day.
• Demonstrates a commitment to goals, a "can do" attitude and approach to problems, and persistence in the face of adversity.

Base salary: $35.00/hour

Job Type: Part-time (Seasonal)

Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
