Position Summary:
Provides administrative and operational support as needed to multiple lending functions in accordance with established systems and procedures. This position is responsible for providing support and assistance to both consumer and commercial loan officers in dealing with delinquent loans.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create/mail out past due and demand letters.
- Manage the repossession and foreclosure process and track fees associated with these loans.
- Track past due loans and provide monthly updates to management.
- Work paid off loans, create mortgage and lien releases, file UCC terminations.
Other Duties
- Reviews new/renewal loan files to ensure all regulatory and policy required documents are in file and provides funding approval prior to loan documents being sent out for signing.
- Primary responsibility will be loan document review for all Consumer Real Estate loans prior to loan closing. Secondary responsibility will be loan document review for Commercial loans both Real Estate and Non-Real Estate.
- Reviews all business corporate documents, collateral documents, and loan documents related to the new/renewal loans.
- Responsible for reviewing files for Flood and HMDA requirements.
- Back-up for Consumer Real Estate Loan Processors helping to create loan documents as needed.

Qualifications
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and frequent interruptions.
- Strong technical background with analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills
- Experience with Encompass Mortgage Loan Document Preparation System is a plus
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience.
- College certificate is preferred but not required; at least 2-3 years of similar work experience. Basic knowledge of loan documents and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with the FIS software system is preferred.
Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees, customers and the general public. Ability to calculate basic math figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office software.
Physical Demands
This position may require long periods of standing or sitting and may include long periods of typing and repetitive motion. Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds.
