DESCRIPTION:
The Mercato is looking for Retail Sales Associate to be a part of our retail and butcher shop. The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for selling and educating customers on our Certified Piedmontese beef, other high-quality proteins, and a variety of spices, cheese, baked goods, etc.
This position will be customer focused, with an emphasis on assisting customers, answering questions, and checking customers out at the register. The Retail Sales Associate will also be responsible for keeping things clean, organized, and in stock. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people and has a passion for high quality proteins and ingredients. Part-time and full-time positions available. Evenings and weekends hours required. Assume other duties as assigned.
Candidates should be at least 19 years old due to the responsibilities of serving and selling alcohol.
