Great Plains Ag Product Specialist - Midwest Region

Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a Great Plains Ag Product Specialist to serve the Midwest Region of the United States. The Product Specialist focuses on all elements of training for our dealers, equipment owners, operators and internal employees. Product Specialists are also the "go-to" employees in the field to resolve technical aspects of Great Plains Ag equipment.
This position is a field - based position reporting to the Training Manager, but also coordinating activities with Territory Managers and Region Sales Managers.
Territory includes but is not limited to : Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist Territory Managers and Dealers with training end users about proper operation and field settings of Great Plains equipment
- Key trainers / instructors for Great Plains Gold Medallion dealer sales and service training in Salina, KS
- Coordinate with Territory Managers to conduct field demonstrations
- Expert for equipment startup and field adjustments
- Conduct New Product Training for dealers and end users
- Assist dealers with troubleshooting units in the field, via phone or traveling to diagnose in person
- Direct link to the Service Dept. and Engineering for field problem fixes
- Assist dealers with Warranty issues
- Important source of "customer voice," providing product update needs and new product requests
- Assist Product Management with competitive product comparisons
- Assist with set-up and participation in local, regional and national farm shows
- Assist with acquisition and development of assets for marketing, training purposes
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications and physical demands
