Paint Lead – 1st shift - Salina, KS
Great Plains currently has an opening for a Paint Lead Person at the Salina campus. The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime on Friday as required)
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge in all aspects of the Salina paint lines
- Maintain safe, quality and efficient production flow to satisfy plant production schedule
- Train employees in all aspects of the paint system
- Insure maintenance of paint system
- Understand, endorse and implement material control procedures
- Administer company policies and procedures to insure consistency with company direction
- Work on the paint line as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to Lean Manufacturing Processes
- Excel in fast paced environment
- Leadership experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Implement team concepts
