Essential Functions:
Primary Role and Responsibility: Organize, maintain, and secure resident medical records in compliance with facility policies and privacy regulations. Responsibilities include filing and retrieving records, ensuring chart accuracy, supporting assessments, transcribing reports, responding to inquiries, and maintaining registries. Assist with audits, incident reporting, and compliance checks, while fostering collaboration with departments to ensure accurate and accessible documentation.
Additional Roles and Responsibilities: Support facility committees through secretarial tasks, record compilation, and reporting. Supervise staff, manage census updates, and participate in training programs. Maintain safety, sanitation, and equipment standards while ensuring work areas are organized. Assist with supply management and report hazards, equipment issues, or suspected fraud. Perform other duties as assigned.
