Job Title: HSEQ Lead
Location: Luverne, MN
Reports To: Senior Managing Director of FSQA
Job Overview:
The HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality) Lead is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations within the organization. This role requires a proactive approach to risk management, continuous improvement of safety and quality systems, and fostering a culture of HSEQ excellence across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and programs in line with industry regulations and best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Deliver HSEQ training programs and workshops to employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations related to health, safety, environmental, and quality.
- Work collaboratively with department heads and site managers to integrate HSEQ practices into daily operations.
- Promote a safety-first culture by engaging with employees and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, pollution control, and energy efficiency programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external audits.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar HSEQ leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in change management and driving HSEQ cultural transformation.
- Familiarity with FAMI-QS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
