What are the responsibilities and job description for the GPI Product Support Administrator position at Great Plains Ventures?
Job Summary: The Product Support Administrator is the first point of contact regarding the daily entry of domestic and Canadian purchase orders. Order entry responsibilities include: reviewing local network forms to determine earliest availability of products ordered, revising/prioritizing existing purchase orders, providing PO updates and suggestions of products that might be out of stock or no longer available.
Job Details:
- Monitor the daily electronic (EDI) POs into our local ERP System. This includes meeting PO ship dates while following GPI department and company guidelines.
- Coordinate manual entry of hardcopy POs into our local ERP system. This includes providing the best ship dates while following GPI department and company guidelines.
- Work with an AI based automatic data entry system, to help eliminate the as much manual order entry as possible.
- Coordinate with all involved parties when orders need to be updated via phone and email.
- Ensure that all the orders entered conform to Distributor PO and GPI requirements while following GPI department and company rules.
- Notify distributor or outside parties of any PO discrepancies regarding price, lead-times and availability.
- Review/coordinate order entry notes before entering orders for special instructions.
- Navigate within local ERP system and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Qualifications:
Required
- Excellent Customer Service, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma and/ or GED.
- Dependable, a positive attitude and a team player.
Preferred
- 1 – 2 years Syteline experience.
- EDI experience.
- Familiar with GPI products.
Job Requirements:
Physical: Typical office environment, may work in a sitting position while on a computer for extend periods of time. May need to lift up to 20lbs.
Tools / Equipment: Prior experience with office equipment.
Working Conditions: Temperature controlled office environment. Infrequent visits to manufacturing, warehouse and/or shipping areas that require closed toe shoes and safety glasses.
