Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning a nutritious menu for all of our students
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
- Ensure all food is presented in an appealing manner and meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including dining areas, kitchens, and storage spaces.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the food service area.
- Candidate will need to currently have or willingness to acquire ServSafe certification
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to work within a budget
