Supplemental Information
Hourly Range: - $31.25 - $42.00 Hourly ($65,000 - $87,360 annually)
MHP career levels 2,3,4 (DOE & Licensure)

Qualifications
Who should apply?
- Mental Health Professionals with a Master’s Degree in counseling, social services or closely related field and two (2) years of experience providing direct service to those with mentally illness.
- Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor Certification with Department of Health (DOH) or ability to obtain within 30 days from date of hire.

- Therapists skilled at engaging and motivating clients to achieve participation in services.
- Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in jail, court, homes and community locations as needed.
- Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record
- Professional licensure as a LMHC/A, LMFT/A, or LICSW/A preferred.
Some of what you will do:
- Identifies potential risk of need for competency evaluation and or restoration services based on clinical assessment and past mental health history.
- Consultation with relevant community and state agencies, the coordination of multi-agency services, and participation in multi-agency support team on behalf of participants. Provides education and training to other individuals and/or agencies as necessary.
- Develop treatment plan recommendations that identifies the unique needs of each individual.
- Completes criminogenic risk, needs and strengths assessment, identifies any nexus between participant’s mental health disorder and current criminal charges.
- Provide recommendations to county prosecutors regarding acceptance or denial into Mental Health Diversion program based on clinical assessment, mental health history, provider agency collaboration, history of competency evaluations and or restoration services, criminogenic risk, needs and strengths assessment and mental health assessment and charge(s) nexus.
- Interoperability of evidence based treatment plans and documentation for data collection and outcomes.
- Will provide the data and medical history that will accelerate successful referral to psychiatric services.
- Referral support and bi-directional tracking with communications to care team as needed for follow-up.
- Clinical paperwork including documentation of all contacts, problems, interventions, determination of diagnostic eligibility, and dispositions of the case, including all referrals and termination summaries.
