Salary Range: $104,040 - $172,177 annually

Qualifications
Who should apply?
- Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the State of Washington.
- A minimum of a Master of Science degree in nursing or medical degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in mental health, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Proficient in computer use and applications commonly used or applied in this field/trade/position for the development of reports, documents, presentations and access/utilize databases for care management and Microsoft Office software.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Pass and maintain a clear background record as required for healthcare organization under state and federal contracts.
- Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification is preferred.

Some of what you will do:
- Provide consultation, medication evaluation and management to a range of clients with mental illness, cognitive disturbances and substance abuse disorders.
- Prescribe and monitors prescribed medications. Educates consumer and Team Members regarding substance abuse and psychiatric medication interactions, including obtaining informed consent and providing risks/benefits of treatment information to participants.
- Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary services for patients, collaborating with MHPs, Nurses, and other team members to ensure the patient’s treatment plan is effective.
- Document participant progress and permanent record of activity through assessments, diagnosis, and dispositions, according to CIHS established methods and procedures.
- Diagnose and treat diverse psychiatric illnesses and crises.
- Provides clinical oversight, education, and training of CIHS Team Members.
- Be an advocate for the rights and preferences of the participant whenever possible.
- Participates in, and leads as necessary, recovery oriented patient-centered interdisciplinary treatment teams.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisors.
