The Office Manager/ Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients throughout their treatment journey. This position involves coordinating patient care, managing schedules, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage treatment schedules efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout their treatment process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Utilize phone systems effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Assist in training development for new staff members, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Plan and organize events related to patient education and community outreach initiatives.
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks as needed to support the office operations.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring necessary materials are available for staff and patients.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
- Assist in budgeting processes related to departmental activities and events.
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management tasks is preferred.
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
- Excellent administrative abilities, including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
- Effective team management skills to lead projects and coordinate with various departments.
- Experience in event planning to facilitate successful patient engagement activities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
