Graphic Designer

Job Summary:

Great Southern Homes is seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in graphic design and a proven ability to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials. This role will be responsible for designing a variety of materials to support our sales and marketing efforts, contributing to the overall brand image and success of Great Southern Homes.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Design marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, advertisements (print and digital), social media graphics, email templates, website banners, and other collateral.
• Develop and maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project needs and ensure designs align with marketing strategies.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts.
• Maintain an organized digital asset library.
• Stay current with design trends and best practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of the Great Southern Homes brand guidelines.
• Assist with photography and videography (if applicable and skillset allows).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional graphic design skills.
• Experience developing successful campaigns in both print and digital.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a must.
• Experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere and After Effects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as Graphic Designer.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at desk and working on computer.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
