What you’ll be doing to make an impact at GSRs:
Preparing a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers, and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
Consistently complying with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations.
Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, etc.
Preparing items for broiling, grilling, frying, and other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, etc.
Following proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
Handles, stores, and rotates products properly.
Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
2 years of restaurant cooking experience required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred with the ability to speak and understand English.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to:
Standing and walking during an entire shift, averaging to 8 hours per shift.
Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds in weight.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a regular basis.
A team player’s mentality with good communication skills and the ability to stay positive under pressure.
