Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Fitness Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various fitness disciplines and the ability to motivate and educate children and adults in achieving their fitness goals. As a Fitness Instructor, you will lead classes, and create a welcoming environment for all fitness levels. Must be able to work with children between the ages of 4 to 11 years old as well as adults.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective group fitness classes, including High Interval Training, general fitness and conditioning.
- Educate clients on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and overall fitness principles.
- Develop and implement fitness programs that promote health and well-being.
- Maintain a safe and clean workout environment for all participants.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in fitness and wellness to provide the best experience for children and adults.
Requirements
- Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction is preferred. Helpful, but not required or mandatory.
- Preferred knowledge of physiology and body mechanics is essential for effective instruction, but not mandatory.
- Experience in various fitness modalities such as general fitness instruction, High Interval Training (H.I.T), or strength and conditioning is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate children and adults.
- Ability to work Friday's from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
