Great View Enterprise is hiring a Store Cleaner for the Safeway store in Seward, Alaska. This is an early morning, part-time position responsible for keeping the store clean and presentable each day. No prior experience or English language skills are required for this role – we will provide training. We are looking for a candidate who is reliable and punctual, with the ability to consistently meet an early morning schedule.

• Shift Hours: 3:00 AM – 7:00 AM (early morning shift every day, including weekends)

Responsibilities

• Floor Cleaning: Use a floor scrubber machine to clean and maintain all store flooring. Ensure floors are spotless and hazard-free before store opening.

• Restroom Cleaning: Clean and sanitize restrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and floors. Replenish soap, paper towels, and other supplies as needed.

• General Cleaning: Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly. Wipe down surfaces and fixtures around the store as required.

• Daily Prep: Make sure the store is clean, organized, and presentable each morning so customers and staff enjoy a tidy environment at opening time.

Requirements

• Reliability & Punctuality: Must consistently arrive on time for the 3:00 AM shift every day. Reliability is essential for this independent early-morning role.

• No Experience Needed: No previous cleaning experience is required – all necessary training will be provided on the job.

• No English Required: English language proficiency is not required. You can perform the job duties without needing strong English skills.

• Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks, including standing, bending, and light lifting, during the 4-hour shift.

• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude toward keeping the store clean and sanitary.
