Alarm Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various security systems, including CCTV and fire alarms. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties through effective alarm system management.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems, including fire alarms and surveillance equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of security systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with alarm systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies in security systems and relevant codes such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring client satisfaction with installed systems.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or similar role in the security system industry is preferred but not required. (We will train the right person)
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to alarm systems, including electrical components.
• Familiarity with CCTV installation and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Ability to detect issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems and relevant safety regulations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
