Description
Great Western Building Systems seeks a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will oversee the monitoring, ordering, storing, organization, receiving, and distributing processes of Great Western Building Systems’ materials and supplies.
The ideal candidate is someone who is a proactive problem-solver committed to maintaining precise records. They will ensure that inventory levels remain optimal. Main duties include controlling the materials, tracking and analyzing inventory maintenance, and developing protocols for efficient use and loss mitigation.

Responsibilities
Manage Inventory tracking system using RFSmart software and NetSuite integrations for optimized inventory control procedures
Perform regular visual inspections of material levels and organization to ensure the correct materials are available in time for production and shipment
Provision users for RFSMart scanners and trouble shoot to ensure staff can perform the necessary data entries in real time from the shop floor
Monitor shop data entries for accuracy and completeness
Support staff data entries through mentorship and assistance throughout the facility as needed
Schedule and manage cycle counts for all materials to confirm and maintain accurate accounting records
Work closely with purchasing to order the correct materials to arrive in time, and utilize ERP software to set appropriate maximum and minimum quantities to trigger orders at the appropriate time
Receive, bundle and ship materials as needed
Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory
Maintain accurate daily records for item fulfilments, issued components, work order completions, and material shipments
Commit Orders and Reallocate Orders according to fabrication schedule priority
Create and enter detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels
Collaborate with shop management for the organization, placement, and storage of materials to best support shop efficiency
Train new employees to follow company procedures for receipt, storage, usage, and maintenance of inventory.

Qualifications
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is required
Strong record-keeping and organizational skills
Critical-thinking skills to establish actions plans and routinely assess their effectiveness
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they happen and handle them appropriately when they occur
The work environment is primarily indoors, and will, at times, be exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Experience
Inventory Management: 2 years of experience preferred
Knowledge of Netsuite and RFSmart Scanning software is preferred
Steel purchasing/calculations/conversions experience helpful
Compensation and Benefits:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
