Responsibilities
Operate a sub-arc welder to weld three-piece built-up members using correct welder settings to achieve precise weld sizes as per work procedure standards
Maintain consistent attention to detail to ensure high-quality welding output and adherence to quality assurance standards
Familiar with Plasma, Saw, PTW, Iron Working, and other machinery as needed
Duties, responsibilities, and reporting relationships may fluctuate or evolve in light of your skills, experience, and the company’s needs.
The work environment is primarily indoors and will, at times, be exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications and Experience
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required
1 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of basic shop math and blueprint reading
Knowledge of beam assembly and general welding practices
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet quality assurance requirements
Diligence, safety-oriented mindset, and a willingness to learn quickly
Must be able to walk, stand, use hands to handle tools, reach with arms, kneel, stoop, crouch, and talk and hear in noisy environments
Must be able to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 51 lbs independently and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100lbs with the assistance of team lifts.
Compensation and Benefits
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
