GWB is searching for an experienced forklift Material Handler to join our growing team. If you’re skilled in loading and unloading of materials within a warehouse or production facility and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Ability to move hot rolled and built up members up to 32 feet long through shop and obtain crane certification
Load and unload trucks using a forklift to ensure efficient handling of pallets and materials
Stack and store pallets in designated areas while maintaining organization and maximizing space utilization
Operate a forklift safely to transport materials throughout the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures
Collaborate effectively with team members to coordinate warehouse operations and maintain workflow efficiency
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a secure working environment and prevent workplace hazards
Follow all safety protocols including wearing PPE and required PPE at all times. Required PPE is defined as gloves, safety glasses, and steel toe boots Additional PPE, such as hard hats, flame-resistant clothing, hearing protection, face shields, respirators, etc, may be required depending on the specific tasks being performed or the work area.
Duties, responsibilities, and reporting relationships may fluctuate or evolve in light of your skill, experience, and the company’s needs
Qualifications & Experience
The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check is required
1 years experience in forklift operations, as well as, warehouse and shipping yard operations in a manufacturing or production setting
Crane certification is required for this role. If not currently certified, the company will provide assistance in obtaining certification upon hire; however, it is the employee’s responsibility to maintain it as required for this position
Must be able to walk, stand, use hands to handle tools, reach with arms, kneel, stoop, crouch, and talk and hear in noisy environments
Must be able to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 51 lbs independently and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100lbs with the assistance of team lifts.
The work environment is primarily indoors, and will, at times, be exposed to natural weather elements such as heat, cold, sunlight, darkness, wind, rain, lightning, snow, and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Compensation and Benefits
$16.55 - $22.41 per hour, depending on experience
