Cashier (M-F 7am -2 pm)
Duties will include cleaning and sanitizing the dining room equipment, tables and surfaces, assist with cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and workstations. The cashier is responsible for operating the cash register or Point of Sale Station (POS), including cash and credit card transactions.

Common Responsibilities
- Maintain a pleasant, kind, and welcoming attitude toward customers.
- Operates electronic cash register/POS, entering correct charges, collecting accurate amounts of money or debit/credit card payments and providing correct change to customers.
- Complete AM HACCP Logs.
- Prepare the dining room for the start of meal service.
- Make tea and coffee for each meal service.
- Clean & sanitize the dining rooms surfaces, equipment, and all tables throughout all meal service.
- Assist in setting up meal stations with entre accompaniments or utensils.
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking
- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
- Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc.
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Significant walking or other means of mobility.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift to 20 pounds
