Job Overview
We're seeking a Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you'll be responsible for operating the cash register or Point of Sale Station (POS), managing transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a pleasant and welcoming attitude toward customers.
- Operate electronic cash register/POS, entering correct charges, collecting accurate amounts of money or debit/credit card payments, and providing correct change to customers.
- Complete AM HACCP Logs.
- Prepare the dining room for meal service.
- Make tea and coffee for each meal service.
- Clean and sanitize the dining room surfaces, equipment, and tables throughout all meal service.
- Assist in setting up meal stations with entre accompaniments or utensils.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Requirements
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, push, and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position requiring significant walking or other means of mobility.
