Accounting Managers can expect any of the following responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and financials reporting.
• Participate in regular year end, bank and tax audits. .
• Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
• Oversee and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
• Review and analyze financial data, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide training, coaching and development opportunities for the accounting team.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding company finances.
• Develop and implement financial and operational controls and procedures to maintain the integrity of financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5 years of Accounting principles and regulations plus AP/AR; Tax Audit; GAAP, internal controls, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• 2 years of Managerial experience
• Strong leadership and management skills to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• License/Certification: CPA or CMA
