Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to both retail and shop customers, assisting them in selecting the right parts.
- Respond to phone inquiries, offering price quotes and product information.
- Accurately pull and fulfill orders from stock, ensuring timely service.
- Proactively manage inventory, notifying the parts manager of out-of-stock items and submitting emergency orders as needed.
- Support outside sales representatives by processing their orders efficiently.
- Handle retail transactions, including payment collection and credit authorization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in front and rear counter areas.
- Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a lost sales tracking program with the parts manager.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with a dealer management system (Karmak Fusion preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, particularly in inventory management.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities within the company.
- High school diploma or GED; further education is a plus.
- Valid driver's license is required.
Physical Demand
Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs. as needed for moving parts to trucks, shelves, and counters.
Work Environment
Operate in a shop setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
