POSITION SCOPE

Join the Digital Sales team at Soufflet Malt, supporting Country Malt Group functions to supply breweries and distilleries with premium raw ingredients. As an SEO Marketing Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing our webstore's relevance, ensuring it reflects our brand, product lines, and services effectively. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, you will optimize the customer journey, transforming visits to our eCommerce site into seamless and successful purchasing experiences. Leveraging your SEO expertise, you will position Country Malt Group at the top of search results, making us the go-to supplier for our customers when it's time to place an order.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and refine copy and asset management for our new webstore as well as future iterations.
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
  • Monitoring search algorithms set by search engines to keep up with changes in the SEO landscape.
  • Using social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organization.
  • Work with our Digital Sales and Marketing Team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.

  • Developing and integrating content marketing strategies.
  • Using social media to distribute content and encourage external sites to link back to the site of the organization.
  • Driving targeted and loyal traffic to the website through effective community-building.
  • Employing user experience (UX) and conversion rate optimization methods to turn visitors into active users.
  • Continually check search terms, rankings, and analytics to monitor the performance of websites and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Use advanced metrics and analytics to measure the success of a marketing campaign via the webstore.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven SEO experience, with demonstrated success in the North American market.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and ability to identify long-term trends in data.
  • Experience working with a Content Management System.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Based out of Vancouver Headquarters with options for hybrid work or remote work from Mexico.
  • Requires availability to work within North American time zones.
  • Primarily operates in a standard office or remote environment.

COMPENSATION

Salary: $65,381.77 -$98,072.67 per year.

Newly hired incumbents are placed on the salary scale based on their education, training/skill, and experience, as applicable.
Compensation and benefits package as follows.
