Account Manager Description
Great Western Valve, Inc. is a private equity backed high-growth entrepreneurial company with a hard working, yet fun culture that boasts a very stable workplace. We are currently looking to add an Account Manager to our growing team to call on customers and other prospects representing Great Western Valve’s valve repair service branches for control valves, pipeline valves, relief valves, and actuators/MOV’s along with field service through management of existing customer accounts, creation of new customer accounts, and delivering the assigned operating plan. The Account Manager will focus on the sustained and continued market growth in both the midstream and downstream markets in our North Texas and Oklahoma territory.

Position Responsibilities
· Drive profitable growth through developing and maintaining contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and market penetration.
· Develop existing and new customer relationships while promoting and selling Great Western Valve’s valve and actuator repair services to maximize all opportunities to increase market share.
· Develops and execute both short term and long term sales plans and programs to ensure the profit growth and expansion of company services
· Perform sales presentations for customers/prospects
· Support quote generation for customers as required, working with the operations department to ensure a quality proposal to the end customer while ensuring orders are received and booked properly
· Develop and maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, follow-up, and closed sales keeping management informed of activities.
· Work with customers to resolve complaints and have the ability to answer technical and non-technical questions about Great Western Valve’s valve repair services.
· Stay current on all new and existing products, specifications, bulletins and catalogs/literature of the competition.
· Attend trade shows, sales meetings, and conferences as required.
Qualifications/Requirements
· Experience in the industrial service industry preferred (either marketing or sales)
· A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution is preferred but not required
· Ability to carry on a business conversation with decision makers from maintenance technicians through mid-level management
· Experience working in an industrial environment with strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively work across the organization. Able to work as part of a team.
· Full understanding of pricing and proposal methods.
· Familiar with API, ISO standards
· Able to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency
· Travel to customer locations and to other Great Western Valve offices as needed
· Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including skills to navigate web-based literature and programs
· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products/services which includes marketing strategy and tactics, product/service demonstrations, and sales techniques
