GENERAL PURPOSE
The Vice President, Business Development Officer coordinates the long-term and short- term accountabilities necessary to acquire new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate and close new business leads.
Attain or exceed all sales targets.
Record all sales in CRM system accurately and promptly. Meet with AWTM SVP on a weekly basis or as scheduled.
Create and conduct effective proposals and Request for Proposal for clients.
Attend all sales calls and conferences as necessary.
Entertain specific clients as necessary.
Identify and build reliable Center of Influence network.
Retain or increase network.
Promote the many different strengths of the company (i.e. performance, risk management, service, etc.).
Develop and implement annual marketing and business plans, working with the Marketing Officer and the AWTM SVP.
Retain or increase the client base.
Achieve revenue generation goals.
Educate self and other about company products and service.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
5 years experience in trust or wealth planning sales.
Knowledge of the trust business including; personal trusts, special needs trusts, estates and guardianships
SKILLS/ABILITIES
Able to negotiate effectively.
Able to communicate clearly and consistently, both verbal and written.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Proficient with FIS, a CRM system and other trust related software.
