We are seeking a dynamic, engaging individual that will be responsible for teaching Video Production and Photography curriculum in grades 9 through 12. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for teaching Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Filmmaking, and Photography curriculum in grades 9-12.
- Lead a team of students to operate a weekly live Broadcast production.
- Lead a team of students to operate the video scoreboard, replay, and music during home football games.
- Create videos to support the athletics program, including hype videos and lineups for football.
- Maintain regular office hours in order to advise and assist students in a variety of areas including potential careers in their related field of study.
- Assess students and analyze results; refine and differentiate classroom instruction based on assessment data and student needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices throughout the school; share best practices.
- Communicate regularly with students and their families about classroom activities and student progress.
- Manage student behavior to ensure every student is fully engaged.
- Actively participate in professional development activities.
- Identify unique student needs and collaborate with team members to effectively address those needs.
- Support the mission, vision, and core values of Greater Atlanta Christian School.
- High school faculty are also expected to serve as sponsors of student organizations and participate in campus and community events.
- Perform other related work as needed.
