What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Lab Assistant - Part-time - Days position at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC)?
Under direct supervision, the Lab Assistant provides accessioning / processing service, utilizes appropriate equipment, receive, accession / , process pathology and laboratory specimens, as well as provide laboratory information and reports to customers. Assists in the training and monitoring of co-workers, students, and other hospital staff.
Education : HS Diploma
Experience :
6 months related Laboratory accessioning experience
Skills :
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Skill in oral and written communication
- Skill in utilizing customer service techniques
- Skill in performing basic arithmetic
- Skills in using a computer and personal productivity applications
- Ability to type

Pay Range
16.38 - $23.78
Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
