Summary: As part of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank team, the Impact Evaluation Coordinator will be responsible for working directly with partner agencies on the Service Insights on Meal Connect (SIMC) program including training, troubleshooting, onboarding, etc. This person will also work on evaluation efforts to strategically ensure that proper qualitative and quantitative evaluation is conducted using existing data collection processes, as well as indicating areas for improvement or expansion in data analysis and collection. The Impact Evaluation Coordinator will work with staff and stakeholders to use programmatic and partner data to enhance programs for increased effectiveness and to inform future program development. This position will report to the Senior Agencies and Programs Manager. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Build strong relationships with existing program partners 
  • Assess network partner program capacity based on established metrics 
  • Identify the technology and other support systems necessary for collecting data electronically. 
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders the expectations of our data collection program and secure buy-in from those key stakeholders. 
  • Standardize client data collection across partner programs by rolling out SIMC software at partner programs, over a multi-year onboarding process   
  • Standardize internal management of partner program data, quality management, and quality improvement efforts 
  • Provide data collection technical assistance and training to partner program network and internal staff 
  • Monitor and support partner programs to ensure timeliness and accuracy of submitted data 
  • Work directly with grantors, food bank staff and partner programs to implement and monitor activities outlined in program evaluation plans 
  • Performs site visits (announced and unannounced) to observe and evaluate membership compliance or program implementation 
  • Assist in the completion of community needs assessment 
  • Attend special events as needed in the community. 
  • Assist with recertification with agencies and mobile clients as needed.  

 

 


General Duties and Responsibilities: As a part of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank team, all employees play an essential role and are expected to:

  • Report and/or correct deficiencies that constitute immediate threats to health and safety. 
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor which are consistent with the definition and intent of the job description. 
  • All Food Bank employees are considered critical first responders during emergency events (Hurricanes, Pandemics, etc.). This will require extreme flexibility of work schedule and hours during such events. 

Minimum Qualifications:  


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in social science, statistics, measurement, evaluation or a related field. 
  • Experience managing budgets and/or grants and restricted funding. 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Experience with digital records retention and data management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate successful meetings or events.  
  • Minimum of two years demonstrated success in program development. 
  • Ability to deliver presentations and reports that include technical information. 
  • Project management experience and/or certification. 
  • Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Experience troubleshooting software applications and functional issues at the client level. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including the ability to run and interpret reports in Excel. 
  • Willingness to travel and use personal vehicle. 


Job Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt (Hourly)
