Inclusion Technician PT - Beverly YMCA

Join our team as an Inclusion Technician, where you'll play a vital role in helping school-age children reach their full potential through individualized behavior and inclusion support. As an Inclusion Technician, you will work closely with our School-Age Program to implement behavior and inclusion plans tailored to the unique needs of each child. On a typical day, you’ll directly support youth programming by monitoring behavior, documenting observations, and collaborating with team members to create a positive and inclusive environment. You'll also help implement social-emotional learning strategies, model expectations, teach social/emotional skills, and support the program with necessary modifications and accommodations. What You Bring to This Role: * Experience working with diverse abilities and implementing behavior plans in educational or recreational settings. * A strong understanding of social-emotional learning approaches and the ability to guide best practices with flexibility and creativity. * The skills to identify causes of behavior and thoughtfully respond to unexpected situations with sound judgment. * A passion for creating an inclusive environment where all children feel supported and empowered to succeed.
