About This Role
We are seeking an energetic and passionate After School Youth Program Assistant to join our team. As a vital member of our afterschool program, you will play a key role in creating a safe and engaging environment for children aged five to twelve.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous visual and auditory supervision of participants, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Participate in all aspects of program activities, including interactive sessions such as swimming or field trips, and deliver program content in a dynamic, fun, and relatable manner.
- Communicate with staff, parents, or guardians, and participants with a respectful and positive attitude, accurately maintaining time cards.
Requirements
- Age Requirement: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Demonstrate effective leadership skills with proven ability to maintain a positive and encouraging environment with children.
- Energetic, can-do attitude with a genuine passion for helping children grow, learn, and have fun.
- Reliable transportation for consistent and punctual attendance.
