What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant II - High School Guidance position at Greater Cincinnati School Application Consortium?
CLERICAL ? Serve as the administrative assistant to the Counseling Department. ? Serve as the primary point of contact, greeting students, parents, college representatives, and other visitors to the Counseling Department. ? Procure necessary materials and supplies for the Counseling office. ? Maintain accurate and updated enrollment records for all students, including those in special education and vocational programs. ? Manage the building level intake process for new students and handle withdrawal procedures. ? Serve on the building traumatic crisis intervention team. ? Coordinate and assembly all materials needed for counselors’ meetings and/or presentations. ? Organize ceremonies, awards, and recognition programs, including ordering of certificates and materials for student recognition. ? Update and manage student testing and grade reports within cumulative records, tracking credits earned. ? Produce and distribute student report cards, providing copies to counselors as needed. ? Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of student records and information. ? Maintain an inventory of required forms and assist faculty with clerical tasks when necessary. ? Collaborate with the principal and counselor in designing schedules and preparing class lists. ? Input and manage student information in the designated student information system. ? Handle incoming mail, distributing it to the appropriate counselor or department. ? Provide administrative support as requested by counselors and the principal. ? Serve as point of contact for all student transfer of 8th grade files to the high school. ? Maintain responsibility for enrollment and attendance records. ? Performs other duties as assigned.
This position is for a 223 day contract, 8 hours a day. Salary range is $20.13 - $26.14 per hour. Benefits available.
