Primary Function
Instructs daily lessons. Works with students on lessons, technical practice, reinforces learning concepts and maintains hallway, classroom and displays.
General Description
In-School Suspension (ISS)
Monitor students serving In-School Suspension.
Practice restorative measures to assist with student behavior.
Functions as part of the educational team in a supportive role. Assists students with academic tasks. Keeps all student information confidential.
Qualification Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents and faculty.
Ability to effectively present information in verbal or written form to school administrators, faculty, parents, children and members of the School Board.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to potentially technical situations. Ability to establish priority ordering of tasks necessary to complete a project and convey these understandings and priorities to others. Ability to employ logical sequencing, trouble-shooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Must have a knowledge of computers and their capabilities. Must have a valid driver’s license.
