The Greater Cleveland RTA is seeking a Lead Database Administrator.
Detailed DescriptionDuties: Supervise the administration of all Oracle and Microsoft relational database systems including on premise and cloud. Responsible for supervision of database management team. Monitors the condition of databases, and database infrastructure to ensure application performance. Performs or oversees maintenance as necessary. Responsible for database standards, metrics and KPI reporting. Maintains a grasp of current and future technology trends. Definition of enterprise database strategy. This position will promote a safe and secure atmosphere, follow all safety and security rules, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsMinimum Requirements:
Applicant must have an associates degree in computer science or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Applicants must have six (6) years direct experience with administration of Oracle databases, MS SQL enterprise databases and demonstrated leadership of technical teams. Experience administrating Oracle applications is a plus.
