About the Role
">We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Sterilization Technician. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Process and sterilize all instruments for daily use.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, instruments, and supplies.
- Operate and maintain decontamination equipment.
- Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
- Examine supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Sterilize, prepare, wrap, and organize equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
Requirements
">- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certification in Sterile Processing and Distribution is preferred but not mandatory.
