What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chiropractic Assistant position at Greater Good Chiropractic Care?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chiropractic Assistant for our growing practice. In this role, you will be essential to our mission by facilitating patient care, managing daily operations, representing us in the community, and contributing to our marketing efforts. Responsibilities will include managing the front desk and patient records, preparing patients for adjustments and X-ray exams, performing administrative duties as needed, and helping us build strong relationships with local businesses and groups to generate new patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- scheduling, greeting, and preparing patients for their appointments
- maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality of protected health information
- managing patient inquiries and providing exceptional service to ensure patients and their families have a positive experience
- administrative tasks like payment processing, insurance billing, and care planning
- explaining and performing paraspinal thermography assessments to patients before and after adjustments
- explaining diagnostic X-ray procedures to patients and setting up for X-ray exams
Training will be provided if you don’t already know how to do some of these tasks, especially assessment and X-ray procedures. We encourage you to apply if you are eager to learn!

As you gain experience, you may be considered for advancement into clinical or managerial roles such as Technical Chiropractic Assistant or Clinic Manager. If interested, you can attend an X-ray training and certification program and take X-rays in Illinois!

Previous experience in a chiropractic or healthcare setting is not required or preferred. People with hospitality, sales, and/or marketing experience are specifically encouraged to apply. This includes but is not limited to restaurant servers, bartenders, hotel front desk clerks, concierge, housekeepers, tour guides, catering staff, retail sales associates, sales account managers, and/or real estate agents.
