What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Coach position at Greater Holyoke YMCA?
Position Summary :
Provides direct leadership, instruction and motivation for participants on Greater Holyoke YMCA's competitive swim team, the Holyoke Vikings.
This position may require travel between Holyoke and Westfield.
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Certifications : CPR, AED, Basic First Aid certification.
- Must be able to demonstrate competitive swimming skills in accordance with YMCA standards.
- YMCA swim coach certification or equivalent is a plus (required to be on the deck at league meets)
- USA Swimming Coach certification is a plus.
- At least 18 years of age.
