What are the responsibilities and job description for the Evening Adult Training - ELL Instructor for ESOL Enhanced Advanced Manufacturing position at Greater Lawrence Technical School?
An ELL Teacher is needed to teach a contextualized 40-hour English curriculum that will prepare ELL adult students for a concurrent Advanced Manufacturing technical training. The ELL Teacher will adapt the existing curricula as needed to ensure that it meets the needs of the students to build familiarity with Advanced Manufacturing concepts and vocabulary. An ELL Paraprofessional will assist the ELL Teacher. Trainees will be unemployed adults who are English Language Learners; the purpose of the training is to prepare trainees for entry level machining positions with local advanced manufacturing employers. Classes will prepare students for the technical training which will be conducted in English, with a paraprofessional providing language support.
