GENERAL SUMMARY: To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to Fedex home delivery features of service; to provide related customer service functions.

FedEx has an open Full-time Courier position in our East Brooklyn location.

Position Summary:

To provide courteous and efficient pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route; to check all shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; to provide related customer service functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills

• Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
• Valid professional driver’s licenseAbility to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• High school degree
