We're looking for a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team – someone who is comfortable interacting comfortably with others, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and acts with appropriate urgency. The Receptionist will interact with patients face-to-face and over the phone, but must have strong organizational skills. This position requires strong attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative. Medical Assistant will assist doctors in their daily schedule, draw blood, do Wellness work-ups, PA'S, refill meds, etc. This job is a floater position that is full-time. Will float between MA and Reception and two offices.
Responsibilities Receptionist:
- Answer multiple phone lines.
- Take messages and relay them to the appropriate party.
- Provide general information to patients or other persons on the phone.
- File documents for patients in the medical office.
- Type letters, records, and reports; organize medical charts; update medical records; and keep patient records confidential.
- Greet patients
- Work in tandem with the MA
Responsibilities Medical Assistant:
- Assist the doctor
- Do Wellness work-ups
- Draw blood and take vitals
- PA'S
- Refill medications
- Answer calls/patient questions
- Working on the staff in box to clear work that needs to be done
- Spin blood and get specimens ready for pick up (label tubes)
- EKG'S, Hearing tests, Eye test, vaccines and injections
Job Type: Full-time
