What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifeguard position at Greater Lowell Technical High School?
Provide lifeguarding services throughout the school year for PE classes. Class coverage times will vary throughout the school, day/year and are scheduled by the PE Chairperson at the start of the school year. Any changes/updates to these schedules will be communicated as needed. As the primary lifeguard for after school athletics coverage for practices and events will run from 2:15pm until completion of any home games/contests/matches throughout the school year. Some events will also occur on non-school days and are scheduled in advance and communicated by the Athletic Director/Athletics Office. Schedules are determined by the Athletic Director and will be communicated prior to the start of each season. The position is for the duration of the school year, approximately 35 hours per week. Opportunity for overtime during swim season-Monday after Thanksgiving until approximately March 1st. Any changes/updates to these schedules will be communicated as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. CPR Certification
Salary : $25 - $35
