Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Report to: Controller

Location: Tarrytown
Hour Per Week: 35, full-time
Exempt
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually
Summary Description:
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts payable processes and ensuring accurate, timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This role will monitor and analyze accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. The Accounts Payable Manager will also provide guidance to accounts payable staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and coding
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payment.
- Review monthly credit card activity and posting
- Develop transaction allocations for various sites
- Maintain calendar of monthly expenses
- Assist with 1099 year-end process for consultants
- Upload positive pay to banks
- Supervise AP Specialists and Purchasing Agent
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Key Competencies:
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- 14 days or less invoice processing time
- Low late payment percentage
- Credit card expenses closed by 20th of the succeeding month
Requirements:
- Four years of accounts payable experience with a least two years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in accounting software, Sage Intacct, and Excel
- Proficient in Concur Software
- Ability to motivate staff
- Basic computer knowledge: typing, communication tools, scheduling tools and web browsers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems
- Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Must be cleared and maintain clearances by applicable regulatory clearances as required
- Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
