Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Family Therapist to join our team at Greater Minnesota Family Services. As a Family Therapist, you will work with children and families experiencing mental health issues in a direct care role. Your primary responsibilities will include providing mental health services to children who are at-risk and their families, connecting with other agencies, and documenting case notes and billable hours.
Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health services to children who are at-risk and their families in a school environment and office setting.
- Connect with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services to children and families.
- Document case notes and billable hours in a timely and accurate manner.
- Schedule services to meet the needs of clients, often during non-traditional hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health or related field and completed a practicum or internship that requires direct interaction with adults and children and is focused on behavioral sciences or related fields.
- Master's degree in human services related field.
- Completed master's degree and working toward licensure (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).
- Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP).
