About The Position
The Senior Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for providing support to all aspects of mortgage servicing including customer service, account administration, cash management, investor reporting, escrow maintenance, loss mitigation, default management, audits, bankruptcy, and liquidation. This position works closely with management and other departments in the organization and must maintain high quality service standards.

About The Position
The Senior Mortgage Servicing Specialist is responsible for providing support to all aspects of mortgage servicing including customer service, account administration, cash management, investor reporting, escrow maintenance, loss mitigation, default management, audits, bankruptcy, and liquidation. This position works closely with management and other departments in the organization and must maintain high quality service standards.
What You'll Be Doing
- Promote positive customer service experiences by executing GNM's customer service expectations.
- Handle first tier escalations.
- Execute quality control reviews and reconciliations of daily servicing activities.
- Assist the manager in servicing risk management.
- Accurately report loan level activity and remittance totals to investors at specified intervals.
- Provide training to new/existing GNM Servicing staff.
- Provide training to new/existing GNM Servicing staff
- 1 year of experience in Mortgage Servicing, Loss Mitigation/Collections or related field required
- 2 years of customer service experience required
- Strong oral and written skills to communicate effectively with borrowers, other business units, and vendors.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving
- While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
- You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

- $45,000 - $65,000 per year
