Position Summary: The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing assistance with the Workday implementation project, oversight and documentation of the finance control environment and establishing protocols for billing insureds for liability deductible programs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with Workday functionalities
- Analyze existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Work with external consultant to configure and customize the Workday Accounting Center platform to align with the organization’s desired processes and requirements
- Assist with the implementation of Workday financials modules to automate required statutory reporting
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Workday configurations, integrations, and processes
- Stay informed about Workday updates and industry best practices. Recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of contract-to-cash processes
- Develop procedures to ensure compliance with annual report of internal controls over financial reporting
- Perform annual assessment of systems access for finance personnel
- Develop procedures to bill insureds for deductibles related to liability programs
- Administer collateral where it is provided
- Assist with check printing and testing, as needed
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field is required
- 10-15 years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience required, including 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
- Workday experience strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including at least an intermediate level proficiency with Excel
- Experience with general ledger systems, including allocations and the closing process required.
- Experience with internal control structures and testing (e.g., SOX) required.
- Previous experience with implementing financial software systems strongly preferred with Workday Financial Module Implementation a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to analyze information and make recommendations.

Salary : $81,100 - $150,100
