Remote position with travel to our NJ and NY locations up to 25%of the time.
Position Summary:
Experienced Financial Systems Implementation Manager to lead the deployment of our new financial system and manage ongoing Data Reporting functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing financial system implementations and maintaining a comprehensive requirements backlog. This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful system integration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of financial systems, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Lead the Data Reporting functionality within GNY IT organization.
- Manage the requirements backlog, ensuring all business needs are documented and prioritized.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure the financial system and reporting solutions meets all regulatory and compliance needs.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Continuously monitor and improve system performance post-implementation.
- Report on project status, risks, and issues to senior management.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in implementing financials system like Oracle financials, Workday, Sage, Clarity
- Experience with managing Data Lake and reporting needs.
- Experience with Jira for requirements and backlog management
- Minimum 4 years of Agile project management experience.
- Legacy Data conversion experience
- Experience in Insurance industry is a plus
Skills:
- JIRA
- Visio, Mural or any other visual work platform
- Configure and update system setting to meet the organization's evolving needs
- Assist in implementing and integrating new platforms within GNY ecosystem.
- Assist in implementing and managing various testing methodologies.
- Integration patterns to integrate ERP with other in-house and Cloud solutions.
The salary range for this role is $128,400-$193,700. The listed annual salary range posted for this position is subject to change and may vary depending on performance, education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, demonstrated proficiency in the competencies required for the role and business needs. Base pay is just one component of GNY’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
