We are presently seeking full-time Business Office Coordinators.
Requirements include: High School Graduate with graduation from an accredited Medical Coding Specialist program would be desired. Skill in operating both the computer terminal and system computer with moderate speed to access information. Working knowledge of ICD – 9 and CPT codes. Knowledge of medical terminology desired. Experience in an ambulatory care or hospital setting preferred. Able to meet deadlines in a timely manner. Responsible individual capable of working under stressful conditions. Must have excellent analytical skills and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. Ability to proofread and monitor own work for accuracy. Good interpersonal skills. Must have a fundamental understanding of insurance billing. Must also be CPR certified.

General Responsibilities and Duties include:
- Responsible for obtaining and documenting accurate demographic and financial data to eliminate revenue loss and decrease encounters errors.
- Responsible for the collection, recording and tabulation of monies owed to the corporation.
- Prepare reports after reconciling data entry batches.
- Ability to communicate well with patients and staff in a professional manner.
- Ability to calculate, verify and update patient sliding fee scale appropriately.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
