Founded in 1970 as South Philadelphia Health Action and subsequently incorporated as Greater Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA is a non-profit healthcare organization with a commitment to provide compassionate and affordable healthcare services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay.
We are presently seeking a Part-Time Temporary Accounting Clerk at our Executive Office.
This role is ideal for a high school graduate who is organized, enjoys working with a friendly staff, and possesses strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office Software, particularly Excel, and will be involved in various accounting functions. Account Payable experience is helpful.
Key Responsibilities include conducting inventory checks on Fixed Assets. Entering journal entries and managing basic bookkeeping tasks. Assisting in the reconciliation of accounts. Providing support for Account Payable and Receivable processes as needed.
