Greater Philadelphia Health Action, Inc. (GPHA) is a Federally Qualified Health Center
known to be the largest healthcare provider in the greater Philadelphia area. With Joint Commission
accredited Health Centers providing compassionate and affordable healthcare
services throughout Philadelphia regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. We are seeking to
hire an IT Systems Engineer (SysEng).
GPHA’s Systems Engineer role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the
information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by
implementing, monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software,
hardware, and associated operating systems. The Systems Engineer will apply proven
communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and
resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
An undergraduate degree in information technology, computer science or related field and 3
years of experience, or 5 years of relevant, hands-on experience with Windows
Server / workstation OS, and wired and WiFi networking technology, and IT systems
implementation, maintenance and support is required. Must possess excellent organizational
skills with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
